About Us

Maricopa County Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) is a humanitarian association of independent community organizations who may be active in all phases of disaster. Its mission is to foster efficient and streamlined service delivery to people impacted by disasters, while eliminating unnecessary duplication of effort through cooperation in the four phases of disaster: preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.
